The report defines that Google, Meta, TikTok, and other digital companies have agreed to the europeans  anti disinformation rule in which the businesses have to share more data with the European Commission.

The Financial Times report includes the details of an updated code of practice that some of the world’s largest tech companies have agreed and signed too.

The main task performed here is cutting off ad revenue to disinformation spreaders, the expanded new agreement adds other new priorities designed to limit fake online accounts.

This anti disinformation code has been launched several times since it was finally implemented in  the year 2018 and it includes Google, Meta, TikTok, Twitter and Microsoft,
