Google has given an update that they are simplifying their search console reports, so that we can focus more on the problems that affect our website appearing in search results.
Core Web Vitals, Mobile Usability, AMP report, Rich result reports, and URL Inspection will be affected by this update, says google. There are chances for google to slowly implement this update within the next few months.
This change was mainly implemented after the users who have reported that they are confused and demented by the caution symbol whether it means that the page can or can’t appear on Google.
There are chances for the ‘warning‘ label to get affected by the upcoming changes that google makes especially for URLs and items. The uncertainity spreading around is that whether this level means a page or item that cannot appear in Google.
Some common issues are still allocated as error, warning, or good, which is connected through the use of color and symbol preferably than a text tag.
The following reports that are due to this update are:
URL Inspection: The top volume results for a URL will be either:
- URL is not in google
- URL is in google, but it has issues
- URL is on google
AMP report: Warning status is replaced with valid and invalid tags
Core Web Vitals: need improvisation, poor Good categories are kept back, while the pages are organized into good and bad tables.
Mobile Usability: Categorization is marked as either functional or nonfunctional.
Rich result reports: New tags will bid into Events, logos, fact checks and other types of report.
Google mentions that there is only a describing change in the Search Console. They also clarify that there are no changes in how the website is served and crawled in search results.
